The facts are in and the number of people who died from marijuana overdose is zero. Now that people are starting to warm up to the substance and it's legal for either medicinal or recreational purposes (or both) in 23 states, people are starting to realize that it's not as dangerous as everyone once thought it was.
Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders even supports making it legal in all 50 states.
That's the good news. The bad news is that more than 17,000 people died from overdosing on more dangerous drugs like heroin. The CDC is calling the rise in deaths and addiction an epidemic.
