U.S. Companies Have Begun Allowing Employees To Use Marijuana At Work

You might think that your eyes are deceiving you but no they are not. A few U.S. companies have begun allowing and in some cases encouraging their employees to consume marijuana during work hours.

The one obvious point that needs to be outlined is that this is only happening in states that the plant is already legal in for recreational use.

According to CNN, Denver, CO based software company Flowhub allow their employees to get lifted while at the office. Co-founders Chase Wiseman and Kyle Sherman shared that “if it helps our employees get work done, then we don’t care if they consume at work.

In case you were wondering, yes, Sherman and Chase use marijuana at the office as well. Due to building regulation where Flowhub is located, staff aren’t allowed to smoke, so instead they use sodas, juices and other edibles.

The pair say they have not encountered any problems with using marijuana at the office and it actually increases creativity. “It definitely surfaces new ideas and a fresh take on things.
