Regardless of your stance on the legalization of recreational
marijuana use, Pennsylvania Lt. Governor John Fetterman wants to hear
your opinion Tuesday, April 16 at the HUB.
Fetterman, the former mayor of Braddock, PA and a proponent of the
legalization of recreational marijuana, launched a marijuana listening
tour in January. Since then, he’s been traveling to different counties
to hear constituents opinions on the topic. His goal is to visit all 67
Pennsylvania counties.
By visiting all 67 counties, Fetterman feels he’ll have adequately
touched every corner of the state and heard every possible perspective
on the topic.
In an interview with Pittsburgh’s KDKA radio station, Fetterman
expressed his satisfaction with the tour’s progress and said he’s
received thoughtful feedback from advocates of both sides of the issue.
His Centre County stop will take place in Alumni Hall from 7:30 to 9
p.m. Tuesday, April 16.
This will be the 32nd county Fetterman has
visited on the tour. Anyone is welcome to attend the event, and those
who aren’t able to make it can submit their thoughts online.
