(WABI) Police are issuing a warning to people who choose to buy or use marijuana.
They're telling folks to take caution when getting pot from an unreputable source.
There have been reports of marijuana being laced with other more dangerous drugs.
"I would warn anyone who is going to purchase illegal drugs to be very cautious because you never know what you're getting and sometimes what you are getting could cost you your life" said Sargent Wade Betters.
They're also urging anyone who uses edible marijuana to read the packaging before consuming in order to avoid an overdose.
