Marijuana
or Cannabis component can cause paranoia. The study explains the facts
causing the effects of being paranoid on the use this weed.
Marijuana or Cannabis is not just an
ordinary weed. However, many people use marijuana without adverse
effects but with pleasant one or for the purpose of medication, The Guardian reported.
Evidence show that marijuana can also cure some kinds of diseases.
Unfortunately, marijuana can also cause a
certain link in the brain thus causing paranoid thoughts. The brain
itself has its cannabinoid receptors which are responsible for
generating anxiety and fear called amygdala.
Dr. Sachin Patel explained, "We know
where the receptors are, as well as we know their function and how these
neurons make their own cannabinoids. Now can we see how that system is
affected by stress and chronic use of marijuana?"
It results in only one word, "Paranoid."
When people uses marijuana, because of the reaction of the receptors in
the brain, paranoia exists. This will give effect for the marijuana
users to be more likely to be at the problematic end of a spectrum.
This will result to the certainty that
people under paranoia feel five times the fear which nonusers feel.
Leading them to think that there's always somebody who are trying to
cause them too much harm or serious injury.
